Welcome to NCHHHA, where we are dedicated to helping our friends and neighbors recover and become more independent at home. Since 1970, we have provided the highest quality nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work, home health aide, and homemaking services. We are also honored to assist those who choose to be at home for their end of life, with friends and family by their side.

What is Home Health?

Home health is a type of healthcare service that is provided in the comfort of one’s own home. It is designed to support individuals who require medical attention and assistance with daily activities. Licensed healthcare professionals and trained caregivers work together to ensure that patients receive the care they need to maintain their quality of life. With home health, patients can receive personalized and convenient care in a familiar and comforting environment.

What is Hospice?

Hospice is a program that provides individualized end-of-life care to enhance the quality of life for patients, their families, and caregivers. It involves a team of specialized health professionals who are skilled in pain and symptom management, and they provide comfort and care to those in need.

What is Palliative Care?

Palliative care is specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses. It focuses on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness, with the goal of improving quality of life for both the patient and their family. Palliative care can be provided alongside curative treatment and is available at any stage of an illness.
